Description The Agency''s Customer Experience Team advances customer experience (CX), user experience (UX), service design, experience measurement, customer insights, and Voice of Customer (VoC) activities that support the Agency''s digital transformation priorities.

Working across programs and initiatives, the team helps improve the experiences of patients, caregivers, providers, and partners by supporting the transition to more connected, digital-first healthcare services and driving adoption, usability, and continuous improvement.

To support the Patients Before Paperwork (Pb4P) portfolio, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide leadership and coordination for CX, UX, and VoC initiatives.

The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing operating plans, implementation roadmaps, workback schedules, governance activities, stakeholder engagement, executive reporting, procurement and vendor management, and strategic initiatives.

The Senior Project Manager will manage complex cross-functional projects, risks, dependencies, timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables while coordinating activities across internal teams, external partners, vendors, and leadership stakeholders.

This role is critical to enabling the successful delivery of Pb4P priorities by supporting project planning, governance, partner alignment, and execution, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with organizational objectives and informed by customer and user insights throughout the project lifecycle.

Required: Project & Program Management Expertise Extensive experience leading complex projects and strategic initiatives from planning through implementation and evaluation.

Proven ability to develop operating plans, implementation roadmaps, governance structures, workback schedules, and executive reporting while managing scope, risks, dependencies, budgets, resources, and deliverables in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Procurement, Vendor & Contract Management Experience in procurement activities, consulting engagements, overseeing contract deliverables, and coordinating partners to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, budgets, and performance expectations.

Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to build trusted relationships across internal teams, external partners, vendors, and senior leadership.

Experience developing executive briefings, presentations, business cases, status reports, and recommendations that support informed decision-making.

Strategic Planning & Business Acumen Demonstrated ability to translate organizational priorities into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and implementation strategies.

Experience aligning project delivery with broader business objectives, digital transformation priorities, and organizational change initiatives.

Governance, Leadership & Collaboration Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitate governance and decision-making processes, drive stakeholder alignment, and build consensus across diverse groups while navigating competing priorities.

Risk, Dependency & Change Management Experience identifying and managing risks, issues, dependencies, and organizational impacts across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Knowledge of change management principles and experience supporting stakeholder readiness, adoption, and successful implementation.

Digital Transformation & Healthcare Experience Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation, process modernization, or workflow improvement initiatives.

Experience within healthcare or other complex public-sector environments, including initiatives that improve service delivery, reduce administrative burden, and support digital adoption, is strongly preferred.

Experience Requirement 7-10 years of progressive project or program management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and governance bodies.

Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Operating Management Lead the development, maintenance, and reporting of operating plans, roadmaps, implementation plans, workback schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery plans that support organizational priorities and digital transformation initiatives.

Project, Program & Portfolio Delivery Coordinate and oversee multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring alignment across projects, teams, and stakeholders.

Monitor progress, deliverables, timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to support successful delivery and benefits realization.

Executive Reporting & Leadership Updates Develop executive reports, dashboards, presentations, briefing notes, and status updates.

Collect, synthesize, and communicate progress, priorities, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions from project teams and leaders to support informed decision-making.

Governance, Meetings & Decision Support Lead governance and project management forums, including agenda development, meeting facilitation, action and decision tracking, issue escalation, and follow-up activities.

Coordinate discussions on priorities, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Coordination Facilitate collaboration across internal teams, external partners, vendors, clinicians, and health system stakeholders.

Coordinate engagement activities and communications to ensure alignment on priorities, deliverables, and organizational objectives.

Procurement, Vendor & Contract Management Facilitate procurement activities, vendor and consultant engagements, contract management, deliverable tracking, and performance oversight to ensure compliance and successful project outcomes.

Risk, Issue, Dependency & Change Management Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and organizational impacts.

Develop mitigation plans, escalate concerns as required, and support stakeholder readiness and adoption.

Performance Measurement, Continuous Improvement & Project Close-Out Coordinate performance reporting, dashboard development, project documentation, lessons learned, knowledge transfer, project closure activities, and benefits realization assessments to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Desired Skills: PMP, Agile, Scrum, or other recognized project management certification.

Experience leading complex projects, programs, or transformation initiatives within healthcare, digital health or similarly complex environments.

Experience developing and managing operating plans, implementation roadmaps, governance processes, executive reporting, and performance reporting.

Experience supporting executive leadership, steering committees, governance bodies, and Ministry-facing reporting.

Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, clinicians, and external partners.

Procurement, vendor, and contract management experience.

Change management and organizational readiness experience.

Experience with performance measurement, dashboards, metrics, and data-driven reporting.

Experience leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools to support project planning, reporting, meeting management, documentation, analysis, and executive communications.

Additional Terms The term of this Engagement Assignment is for 156 Business Days, with an option to extend for up to an additional 254 days at the Agency''s discretion.

The Engagement Assignment may be extended for unused Business Days at the Agency''s discretion.

The resource will comply with the Agency''s policies and procedures.

The resource will be issued an Agency laptop and is expected to provide at least one additional monitor, an external keyboard and a mouse at their own expense.

In addition, when the resource is working from their home location they must have a private office space and are not permitted to work in an open communal space.

Internet connection must be hard-wired and suitable bandwidth to support the IT requirements of this role.

If these conditions cannot be met within their home office space, the resource will transition to full time in office, and the hybrid option will no longer be available.

The Agency systems cannot be accessed from outside the province of Ontario, and Agency assets including laptops and related equipment cannot be removed from the province of Ontario, without prior written approval from the Agency.

Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as ''Hybrid''.

The resource under this request will be required to work onsite as per Hiring Manager sole discretion.
