Senior Costing & Inventory Analyst - Hybrid Our client, a well-established manufacturing company , is seeking a Senior Costing & Inventory Analyst to support inventory accounting, costing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced accounting or finance professional with strong manufacturing costing and inventory experience.

Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain inventory records, pricing, and standard costing information.

Perform month-end inventory reconciliations to the general ledger and prepare journal entries.

Analyze inventory variances, including manufacturing, packaging, waste, and obsolete inventory.

Manage inventory adjustments, allowances, and COGS allocations.

Prepare inventory and costing reports and investigate discrepancies.

Support period-end inventory closing and adjustments.

Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory controls.

Work with FP&A; and operational teams on standard costing for finished goods, bulk items, and new products.

Support inventory-related internal controls, audits, and financial reporting.

Identify opportunities to improve costing, inventory processes, controls, and efficiencies.

Work closely with Finance, FP&A;, Operations, and Manufacturing teams.





Qualifications Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. 35+ years of progressive experience in costing, inventory accounting, or financial analysis within a Canadian manufacturing environment.

Solid understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory accounting, standard costs, COGS, and variance analysis.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. CPA designation or CPA in progress is an asset.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. AI may be used to support certain administrative aspects of our recruitment process.
