IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting for a Metal Fabrication & Assembly Associate on behalf of our client in Woodstock, Ontario.

We are seeking motivated individuals with experience working with metal materials, power tools, and assembly processes.

This role involves building, assembling, and installing custom shelving and storage systems for commercial vehicles.

If you enjoy hands-on work, have strong mechanical aptitude, and take pride in building Location: Woodstock, Ontario Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time hours (7am-4:45pm Mon-Thurs and 7am-12pm on Fridays.) Assignment Length: 6-week assignment to start, with potential for extension based on business needs and performance.

Responsibilities Assemble metal shelving, racking, and storage systems for commercial and service vehicles.

Read and interpret work orders, assembly drawings, and measurements.

Safely operate power tools including drills, grinders, impact drivers, and saws.

Measure, cut, fit, and fasten metal components according to specifications.

Install shelving systems and related accessories inside vehicles.





Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work setting.

Follow company safety procedures and use required PPE.

Qualifications Previous experience in metal fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience using hand and power tools in a production or workshop environment.

Ability to read tape measures and perform accurate measurements.

Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical work throughout the shift.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with vehicle upfitting, metalworking, or custom installations is considered an asset.
