Point Migration/Delivery Technical Lead to lead end-to-end Share

Point migration and modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Share

Point Online, Microsoft 365, migration architecture, Power

Shell automation, governance, and enterprise delivery .

The Technical Lead will own migration strategy, solution design, execution, cutover, stabilization, and technical delivery while ensuring secure, compliant, and low-disruption migration to Share

Point Online and Microsoft 365.

Key Responsibilities Own the technical migration strategy, architecture, delivery plan, and migration-wave schedule.

Lead migrations involving on-premises Share

Point, cloud environments, tenant-to-tenant migrations, file shares, and legacy platforms.

Assess source sites, content, metadata, permissions, workflows, customizations, integrations, and compliance requirements.

Define target Share

Point Online information architecture, taxonomy, security model, retention controls, and governance standards.

Lead pilots, migration execution, validation, cutover, rollback planning, hypercare, and technical sign-off.

Configure migration tools, mappings, scripts, reports, exception handling, and reusable migration runbooks.

Modernize legacy workflows, forms, web parts, and integrations using Share

Point Online and Power Platform.

Establish reconciliation controls for content, metadata, version history, permissions, links, search, and workflows.

Coordinate with business owners, architects, security, infrastructure, application teams, and vendors.

Track delivery, quality, dependencies, risks, and issues while providing regular status reporting.

Lead and mentor engineering teams and serve as the escalation point for complex migration issues.

Required Technical Skills & Experience 10+ years of Share

Point or Microsoft 365 experience,



including 3+ years leading enterprise migration or modernization programs.

Solid expertise in Share

Point Online, Microsoft 365, and Share

Point Server 2013/2016/2019.

Experience with large-scale on-premises-to-cloud, tenant-to-tenant, file-share, and legacy-platform migrations.

Hands-on experience with Share

Gate, Microsoft Share

Point Migration Tool, Migration Manager, Quest, Ave

Point , or comparable migration tools.

Strong Power

Shell and PnP Power

Shell experience for discovery, automation, reporting, administration, and remediation.

Knowledge of Share

Point Framework, CSOM, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, Java

Script/Type

Script, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

Strong understanding of Share

Point sites, hubs, lists, libraries, metadata, content types, managed metadata, navigation, search, permissions, and external sharing.

Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Purview capabilities including retention, records management, sensitivity labels, DLP, eDiscovery, and audit.

Experience with migration assessment, data mapping, testing, reconciliation, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

Knowledge of Azure Dev

Ops or Git

Hub, CI/CD, Agile delivery, and IT service-management practices.

Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

Leadership & Delivery Skills Strong technical leadership, estimation, planning, team mentoring, and delivery ownership.

Ability to translate business, security, and compliance requirements into practical migration solutions.

Excellent stakeholder communication, workshop facilitation, expectation management, and executive reporting skills.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, risk management, and escalation management capabilities.

Ability to coordinate distributed teams and manage parallel migration waves in deadline-driven environments.

Demonstrated ownership of at least one complete migration lifecycle from assessment through cutover and stabilization.
