Performance Objectives

- Complete 18–25 high-quality CT and radiographic exams per shift while maintaining first-pass diagnostic acceptability above 97%.
- Reduce average patient wait time from arrival to image acquisition by 15% through efficient workflow and protocol optimization.
- Achieve zero preventable radiation-safety incidents and 100% compliance with ALARA and facility protocols within the first 90 days.
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver STAT results in under 30 minutes for 95% of urgent cases.
- Train and mentor two junior technologists per quarter on advanced CT protocols and patient-positioning techniques.
- Maintain equipment uptime above 98% by performing daily QC and promptly escalating service issues.

Environment & Resources





You will be assigned to accredited acute-care or specialty facilities and report to the in office Imaging Manager while remaining supported by an Advanced Care Group Registered Nurse Placement Manager. Access modern multi-slice CT scanners, digital radiography systems, PACS, and radiation-dose-tracking software. Dedicated clinical educators and 24/7 technical support are provided.

Essential Qualifications

- Current CAMRT or equivalent provincial registration plus CT certification (or eligibility within 6 months).
- Minimum 2 years recent experience performing both CT and general radiography in an acute-care setting.
- Proven ability to independently protocol, scan, and reconstruct complex CT studies (trauma, vascular, cardiac).
- Demonstrated radiation-safety record and fluency with dose-reduction techniques.
- Strong patient-communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
