Sales Representative – Insulation (Residential)

Location: Toronto, ON

Base Salary: $60000 plus commission (potential to $100,000+) + Benefits + Vehicle and Gas card + RRSP match

Come join a Canadian leader in full-service insulation! The ideal candidate will have existing knowledge of the building envelope and insulation products or residential construction.

About this role:

- You will be responsible for generating revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales
- Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
- Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments; make initial presentations; understand account requirements
- Develop relationships with contractors and builders
- Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explain product and service capabilities; overcome objections; prepare contracts
- Selling all types of residential insulation, which predominantly include spray foam, batt & poly and attic work (loose fill cellulose/fiberglass)
- Deliver results with respect to sales targets and Margin targets
- Work closely with Customer Experience Team to schedule appointments, follow up with customers and close sales.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.




- Monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts

This role will report to the Branch Manager, and will interact with the Sales Operations Team, Production Supervisors and both the Scheduling and Branch Administrators.

This is a home office/on the road type of set up with some training and or meetings in office

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of insulation products and an understanding of the building envelope is a must
- Experience within the construction industry is desirable
- 2 to 5 years of experience with territory sales and a hunter mentality
- Excellent presentation skills, as well as verbal and written communication,
- Closing skills, strong motivation for sales, sales planning, Territory Management, prospecting skills,
- Persistence, meeting sales goals
- Ambition and a thirst to learn is a must
- Experience using a CRM
- Valid Driver License and Clean Abstract
