Description:
Informatica Governance & Marketplace Development:
- Configure and implement Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) governance capabilities.
- Develop and maintain Data Marketplace solutions to support self-service data discovery and consumption.
- Configure and manage

- Data Quality integrations
- Data Stewardship workflows
- Build metadata ingestion pipelines and automate metadata harvesting from source systems.
- Configure workflows, approval processes, and governance controls within Informatica.
Data Governance Enablement:
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to define governance requirements.
- Translate governance policies into technical solutions.
- Support the creation and maintenance of data domains, ownership models, stewardship assignments, and data classifications.
- Implement data governance standards, controls, and best practices.
Proof of Concept (POC) Delivery:
- Support the planning and execution of a phased governance and marketplace POC.
- Assist with requirements gathering, solution design, and scope definition.
- Provide recommendations on MVP capabilities that can be delivered within aggressive timelines.
- Demonstrate functionality and business value to stakeholders.
Integration & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with data engineering teams on integrating governance capabilities with:
- Azure Data Platform
- SQL Server
- Power BI
- Other enterprise data sources
- Work closely with business analysts and governance stakeholders to document requirements and user stories.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning activities.
Requirements
Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data management, metadata management, or data governance solutions.
- 2+ years of hands-on Informatica experience.
- Experience implementing one or more of:
- Informatica Data Catalog
- Informatica Data Governance & Catalog
- Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC)
- Informatica Data Marketplace
- Robust understanding of
- Data Governance frameworks
- Metadata Management
- Master Data Management concepts
- Data Quality principles
- Data Lineage
- Experience integrating Informatica with cloud and on-premises data sources.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure Cloud.
- Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK data governance principles.
- Experience implementing enterprise data catalogs and marketplaces.
- Familiarity with data privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Informatica certification(s) considered an asset.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or regulated industries.
Deliverables:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Develop a phased Governance & Marketplace POC.
- Configure metadata ingestion and cataloging for priority data assets.
- Establish business glossary and stewardship workflows.
- Implement data lineage and data discovery capabilities.
- Configure Data Marketplace functionality for pilot use cases.
- Produce technical documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support transition from POC to production implementation.
