Become a vital part of SOAR Community Services as a Full time Support Counsellor based in Brantford, ON. This temporary role involves night shifts dedicated to helping clients in the Justice Services program.

In this position, you will provide individual and group counseling to federally sentenced men, focusing on their reintegration into the community. Your responsibilities will include supporting clients’ social skill development, medication management, and overseeing various administrative tasks. Your experience in therapeutic or correctional settings will be key in guiding clients towards achieving better social functioning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement established Support Plans for clients
• Distribute and document medications effectively




• Intervene in client disputes as needed
• Facilitate irregular urinalysis and breath tests
• Handle varied administrative duties and cleaning tasks

Requirements:
• College diploma in Human/Social Services
• Minimum 1-year relevant experience
• Ability to achieve Reliability Status
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Accessible transportation for travel needs
