Take on a pivotal role at Victim Services of Waterloo Region as a High Risk Coordinator, dedicated to addressing Intimate Partner Violence risks. This full time position emphasizes trauma-informed care and inter-agency collaboration.
As the High Risk Coordinator, your responsibilities will revolve around the Mobile Tracking System (MTS) Program, providing vital support for clients experiencing acute safety concerns. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years in crisis intervention and a degree in a related field. Effective risk assessments and individualized safety planning are crucial as you work alongside various community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Mobile Tracking System Program and manage client engagement
• Deliver emotional support and psychoeducation for clients
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for safety determination
• Create and implement customized service plans for clients
• Engage in multidisciplinary discussions for integrated support
Requirements:
• A post-secondary degree in Social Work or a related field
• At least three years of direct experience in crisis intervention
• Proven ability to collaborate with community agencies
• Proficient in risk assessment methodologies
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
