Vertex is currently accepting applications for a full-time Parts Clerk position in Alida, Saskatchewan.

Candidate Qualifications

Journeyman Parts Ticket or 1-2 years Heavy Duty Parts or Warehousing experience considered an asset

Strong knowledge of mechanical parts, catalogs, distributors and dealers

High degree of organization with the ability to manage paperwork efficiently

Be a self starter, organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, challenging environment

Independent and resourceful; ability to work under minimal supervision and with all levels

Be an agent of change and willing to learn new things

Physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs





Excellent communication and customer service skills

Proficient with computers and supporting programs, eg. Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, etc.

Valid driver's license

Able to commute

Responsibilities

Identifying and cataloguing parts & assemblies

Cycle counting as per schedule

Ordering, receiving, inspecting, sorting, and shipping parts

Generating quotes and completing orders

Look up and locate parts in inventory or order parts from approved suppliers

Keep the workstation, as well as the parts department, clean and organized to maintain a professional image to customer

Complete paperwork on timely basis

Monitor parts pricing; recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications

Thorough understanding and identifying of all parts required and ability to research required parts

Unload and load delivery trucks using a Forklift

Core and warranty processing

Ability to be customer service focused and to resolve conflicts in an inclusive, transparent, and calm manner.

Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
