Elevate patient safety as an Anaesthesia Assistant at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. This full time position focuses on supporting anaesthetists and managing essential equipment.
In this critical role, you will assist in clinical procedures while ensuring anaesthetic equipment is calibrated and functioning optimally. The job involves 14 key shifts of 8 hours every 3 weeks, making it essential for timely and effective patient care. You will work under various departmental directions, showcasing the importance of teamwork in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to anaesthetists during procedures
• Troubleshoot and repair anaesthetic equipment
• Maintain compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with multiple healthcare departments
• Keep accurate records of equipment
Requirements:
• Anaesthesia diploma (DA) is necessary
• PALS and ACLS certification required
• Must be registered or eligible with CRNS and SCRT
• Preference will be given to HSAS members
• Excellent interpersonal skills required
Support critical anaesthesia functions and ensure safety for patients at the Royal University Hospital.
