The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.

The candidate will be required to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.

The candidate must be able to mix, pour, and spread materials.

The candidate will be expected to assist heavy equipment operators.

The candidate will be expected to assist in pipe alignment during pipeline construction.

The candidate will be expected to help with rock drilling and blasting on construction sites.

The candidate will be expected to help with house framing, wall construction, and roof construction.

The candidate must level earth to fine grade specifications.

The candidate will be expected to pave and rake asphalt.

The candidate will be expected to assist in the demolition of buildings.

The candidate must clean and stack salvaged materials.





The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.

The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.

The candidate will be required to tend or feed construction machines or equipment.

The candidate will be responsible for directing traffic near construction sites.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.

The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Candidate having experience is an asset.

The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.

The candidate must be flexible.

The candidate should be reliable.

The candidate should be a positive team player.

Experience and specialization

The candidate must be skilled in the construction of industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings, pipelines, residential buildings, roads and bridges, sidewalks and curbs, underground and tunnel work, and water mains.

The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.

The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
