The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director Daniel Raiskin, is announcing a vacancy for the position of Principal Clarinet starting in the season. National auditions will take place on November 2, 2026, and the Audition Repertoire List will be made available soon.The salary for the season is set at $54,988.92 for a 36-week season. In addition to the salary, the position offers perks including a 10% contribution to the Musicians Pension Fund of Canada, Group Life Insurance, Extended Health Care, Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage, and a Dental Plan.All musicians in the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra are members of the Canadian Federation of Musicians.
