Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to lead impactful IT initiatives in Edmonton? Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their team for an initial 12-month contract with solid potential for extension.
In this role, you will manage medium to large application-focused projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to deliver critical software solutions on time and within budget.

Lead high-impact projects valued between 250k and 5 million dollars.

Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end daily management and delivery of multiple application projects.
Manage project financials, track budgets, and develop accurate monthly forecasts.
Engage and align IT teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders regularly.
Monitor project scope through structured change control processes.
Develop clear, concise project documentation according to established standards.
Forecast resource effort effectively across agile and waterfall project structures.
Step into ongoing mid-stream initiatives to guide them to successful completion.
Qualifications At least 7 years of direct project management experience.
Proven track record managing projects valued above 2 million dollars.
Experience managing COTS upgrades, custom software, or mobile applications.
Strong practical knowledge of both agile and waterfall methodologies.
PMP certification or past business analysis experience is considered a strong asset.
