Carewest is hiring a Casual Health Care Aide at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre to provide ongoing client support in a rehabilitative setting. Be an integral part of the interprofessional health care team.

As an HCA, your main tasks will involve monitoring clients and reporting any changes in their status directly to nursing staff. Administer medications safely while maintaining ethical standards in the delivery of care. Your role supports clients requiring therapy and stability before re-entering the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and document changes in client conditions
• Accurately administer prescribed medications
• Ensure adherence to professional care standards
• Provide physical support during transfers and repositioning
• Participate in other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an approved Health Care Aide program
• CLHA registration is mandatory
• Solid English communication skills
• Healthcare experience is an asset
