Support cultural revitalization with ATC as a Cultural Engagement Coordinator in Fort Chipewyan. Enhance community well-being through culturally responsive programming and support for Indigenous families.

This role involves partnership with the Community Education and Engagement Supervisor to ensure ACFN children and families receive culturally relevant services. You will coordinate Family Trees and Cultural Plans, as well as facilitate access to Elders and traditional teachings, strengthening ties to language and culture within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Family Trees for children in care
• Oversee the creation of tailored Cultural Plans
• Connect families with traditional ceremonies and healing opportunities




• Guide Child & Family Services in culturally sensitive practices
• Lead workshops that encourage community engagement and participation

Requirements:
• Two years of experience in cultural or community programming
• Deep understanding of Cree and Dene languages and traditions
• Robust collaboration and communication skills
• Effective organizational skills and time management
• Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check required
