We are looking for a compassionate and empowering Inclusion Coordinator to support inclusive practices in our early learning and child care program. With over 150 child care centres across Canada and the U.S., we’re committed to growing with people who are passionate about inclusion, equity, and child development.
Your Role as an Inclusion Coordinator As an Inclusion Coordinator, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring that every child—regardless of ability, background, or need—can fully participate and thrive in our programs. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and professionals to design individualized supports and promote a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of inclusive, child-centered programming aligned with Nova Scotia's Early Learning Curriculum Framework
Provide coaching and mentorship to early childhood educators on inclusive practices and behaviour strategies
Work with families and community partners (e.g., Early Interventionists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists) to support children with diverse needs
Assist in the development and monitoring of Individual Program Plans (IPPs) for children requiring additional support




Support children through daily routines and transitions to promote emotional and developmental well-being
Maintain accurate documentation, attendance, health and safety checks, and inclusion-related reporting
Participate in team meetings and contribute to professional development efforts
Ensure compliance with provincial legislation, including the Early Learning and Child Care Act where applicable
Requirements Level 2 or 3 Classification as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (Nova Scotia)
Strong knowledge of inclusive education, child development, and emergent curriculum
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with children, families, and professionals
Experience working with children with disabilities or diverse developmental needs
Empathy, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
Ability to maintain documentation and use computer systems effectively
Current Standard First Aid and CPR (Level B or C)
Clear Vulnerable Sector Check & Child Abuse Registry Check
Physically able to push, pull, or lift up to 45 lbs
