Pursue a fulfilling career with APEGA as a Regulatory Exam Writer in Edmonton. This integral full-time position focuses on the development and oversight of examination materials for licensing Engineers and Geoscientists in Canada.

As part of the Registration Department, you will report to the Examinations Manager, taking charge of crafting comprehensive and relevant examination questions for the NPPE. This role involves significant collaboration with experts to ensure compliance with national professional standards, while continuously improving exam quality through research and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and validate examination content for Engineers and Geoscientists
• Perform analysis to suggest content improvements




• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of examination items
• Draft and review exam questions with input from PPESG
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance in exam materials

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in communications or a relevant field
• 5-8 years of communication experience with technical writing
• Experience managing national exam programs
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities
