SYSTRA Canada is seeking a skilled Plumbing and Drainage Engineer for hybrid LRT projects. This role focuses on mechanical design and technical coordination across various locations.

As a member of the engineering team, you will prepare plumbing and fire protection design briefs, working closely with civil engineers. Your duties will include conducting calculations, defining pipe routing, and ensuring designs meet local regulatory requirements. A robust focus on collaboration will be essential to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and civil engineering disciplines in transit infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create mechanical technical specifications and design briefs
• Prepare plumbing calculations for multiple stops




• Define key drainage and piping elements
• Coordinate design handover with civil engineers
• Review and enhance plans put forth by Modellers

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years in mechanical design fields
• P.Eng. licensure or eligible in Ontario
• Knowledge of relevant plumbing and safety standards
• Experience defining mechanical service connections
