We seek compassionate international medical graduates dedicated to oncology and patient well-being. The Oncology Assistant will engage in a robust training program focused on out-patient management in medical oncology, hematology, and radiation oncology. You will work closely with oncologists, gaining practical experience in patient assessments and treatment protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with oncologists for patient evaluations and treatment planning
• Conduct patient history intake and physical examinations
• Evaluate diagnostic test results and toxicity levels
• Directly manage prescription writing and treatment processes
• Facilitate discharge and the coordination of services
Requirements:
• Medical degree listed in WHO or FAIMER directory
• Passed Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Exam Part 1
• English proficiency exam completion
• Current ACLS certification or equivalent
• Licensed with Saskatchewan's College of Physicians
