Join Athabasca University as a Security Training Analyst to build a robust Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Program. This full-time position is pivotal in shaping AU's security workplace and culture. In this role, you will focus on mitigating human-centric cybersecurity risks while implementing effective training and awareness initiatives.
Working collaboratively with IT and various departments, you’ll promote understanding of digital threats among students, staff, and third parties. Your ability to create compelling educational content will ensure engagement and alignment with AU’s policies and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage cybersecurity awareness initiatives
- Analyze effectiveness metrics for training programs
- Develop content for non-technical and technical audiences
- Assist in audit activities and compliance follow-ups
- Monitor alignment with cybersecurity policies and standards Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity or compliance roles
- Relevant degree or certification in InfoSec
- Familiarity with risk management and security frameworks
- Skills in LMS platforms and eLearning tools
- Proven project management and stakeholder engagement abilities Help strengthen AU's security culture through impactful training and awareness initiatives.
