GDI Ainsworth is seeking a dedicated Journeyman Service Electrician with commercial experience to enhance our service team. Your primary focus will be on service calls, troubleshooting, as well as installing EV charging systems and fire alarms. Strong communication skills and qualified integrity are essential as you engage with customers and ensure service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute repairs and installations on electrical equipment
• Interpret circuit diagrams and plan wiring layouts
• Install conduits and splice wires for control systems
• Analyze and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration electrical issues
• Prepare accurate logs and work documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years as a Journeyman Electrician
• Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and electrical theory
• Experience with fire alarms is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
