As a New Graduate Mining Engineer (EIT), you will support Suncor’s initiatives in areas including tailings management and water sustainability. Work within a cooperative team dedicated to innovative engineering solutions and community-oriented practices. Your technical skills will be developed through hands-on experience and various training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and enhance mine and tailings management plans
• Assess risks and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Conduct site visits to ensure execution adherence
• Support ongoing projects with operational insights
• Value safety and sustainable practices in all tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Civil, or Geological Engineering
• Actively pursuing APEGA membership
• Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office and CADD
• Hold an Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
• Committed to learning and applying engineering principles
