This intermediate to senior role, reporting to the Lighting Technical Director, offers a full-time prospect for a candidate with 3 to 5 years of industry experience. You'll be responsible for translating conceptual illustrations into stunning real-time lighting. Your collaboration with various artists will ensure that design objectives are met while respecting game engine constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop high-quality lighting for cinematics and game environments
• Transform illustrations into dynamic real-time visuals
• Work closely with level designers and technical artists
• Utilize Unreal to ensure visual integrity in final products
• Maintain proactive communication with key stakeholders
Requirements:
• Diploma in 3D or equivalent training
• 3-5 years of experience in lighting artistry
• At least one published title as a lighting artist
• Strong understanding of lighting, physics, and composition
• Knowledge of video game production methodologies
