Become a leader in supporting Indigenous communities through Douglas College's Indigenous Community Development initiatives. Function as Manager to create pathways for Indigenous student success and engagement.

In this energetic role, you will oversee the development and implementation of programs that support Indigenous students while collaborating closely with both internal and external partners. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, your efforts will focus on Indigenization and building sustainable relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead community-based initiatives and events for engagement
• Work with college departments on Indigenization planning
• Support student recruitment strategies aligned with community values




• Foster respectful relationships with Elders and Knowledge Holders
• Advise on Indigenous alumni engagement and funding opportunities

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a related discipline
• Three years of supervisory experience in similar environments
• Understanding of Indigenous social and educational needs
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Active commitment to promoting equity and inclusion

Lead transformative engagements and initiatives that empower Indigenous students, fostering belonging and academic success at Douglas College.
