Shape health and wellness programs at REDS Recreation in Fredericton as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist Instructor. Focus on instructing and mentoring in fitness for older adults and those with chronic conditions.
This part time role allows you to lead specialized fitness programs while working alongside a vibrant community. You will create and evaluate exercise strategies, mentor instructors, and engage with clients requiring specialized fitness training. Your commitment to health education will also include group fitness classes and fitness assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver tailored fitness programs for chronic conditions
• Develop exercise prescriptions for individuals
• Mentor fellow instructors and volunteers in programming
• Offer personal training tailored to individual needs
• Instruct engaging drop-in group fitness sessions
Requirements:
• CSEP-CEP certification required
• Relevant degree in Kinesiology or health-related program
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
• Experience with older adults in fitness contexts
• Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC)
