Become an Aircraft Avionics Technician with De Havilland Aircraft in Calgary, focusing on electrical installations and system maintenance. This role ensures operational functionality of onboard avionics systems for the Twin Otter.
Under the guidance of the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include installing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics systems. Candidates with strong foundational knowledge in hydraulics and communication systems will excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out electrical wiring in aircraft manufacturing settings
• Diagnose and resolve issues within avionics systems
• Fabricate and repair various avionics components
• Conduct thorough system checks to adhere to safety regulations
• Keep detailed logs of all repairs and installations
Requirements:
• Working towards or holding an AME “E” Transport Canada license
• Experience with general aircraft maintenance practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Ability to work flexible schedule and in various environments
