Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join them on a 12 month basis. The role is working at their offices in Kitchener or remotely. This role will support additional coverage during a NetSuite ERP reimplementation. This person will focus on general accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and Record-to-Report activities.
Responsibilities

Provide operational coverage and continuity support for assigned accounting and compliance activities during the NetSuite ERP reimplementation, ensuring critical deliverables and deadlines are met while supporting business continuity.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including the preparation and posting of journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and analyze general ledger account reconciliations, investigate unusual transactions and variances, and resolve reconciling items, aged balances, and historical discrepancies through cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.




2+years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
Hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP is preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal control requirements.
Robust knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
