Become a vital part of Resicare Society of Calgary as a female Community Support Practitioner, dedicated to enabling a young woman to achieve independence through support. This role encompasses both in-home assistance and ongoing support in her recent apartment.

Your responsibilities will focus on helping with daily living tasks, encouraging community participation, and ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere. Collaboration with the family and the Resicare team will be key to facilitating her transition to a more independent lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
• Help the client reach personal independence and goals
• Provide assistance with day-to-day living and personal care
• Motivate participation in social and community activities
• Create and maintain a safe living environment
• Document support strategies and collaborate with teams

Requirements:
• Education in Rehabilitation or Social Services with 2 years’ experience
• First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration certification required
• Latest Vulnerable Police clearance within last 6 months
