Become a part of Wellington Catholic DSB as a Tigrinya Instructor in the International Languages Program. Teach on Saturdays, fostering connections through language in St Francis.

This role starts September 12, 2026, and lasts until June 5, 2027, focusing on delivering lessons in Tigrinya and English. The Tigrinya Instructor will handle curriculum planning, maintain classroom discipline, and ensure effective communication with parents. Ideal candidates will have experience working with school-aged children and an understanding of cultural nuances in language learning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engaging curriculum centered on Unit Themes
• Manage classes and supervise student activities
• Complete administrative duties related to class instruction




• Collaborate with fellow International Language instructors
• Communicate with parents to support student learning

Requirements:
• Fluency in Tigrinya and English
• Knowledge of second language acquisition desirable
• Experience with children in educational settings
• Solid communication skills, both written and spoken
• Effective organizational and class management capabilities
