This position, based at North Campus Edmonton, concentrates on the pre-LECA evolution of adaptin protein complexes through Ancestral Protein Reconstruction. Candidates will engage in cutting-edge research that uncovers the evolution of vesicular trafficking mechanisms in Dictyostelium discoideum, supported by high-performance computing and advanced lab facilities.
