Tetra Tech is looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer in Calgary, Alberta to support impactful hydropower projects. Utilize your mechanical skills to drive sustainability in water infrastructure development.

In this role at Tetra Tech, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team focusing on the entire lifecycle of hydropower projects. As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to carry out detailed designs while influencing project strategies and outcomes. Your contributions will be vital as you assist in planning, designing, and delivering critical water resource solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute engineering designs for hydropower infrastructure
• Support procurement of hydraulic and mechanical systems




• Develop technical specifications and tender documentation
• Conduct site support during construction phases
• Facilitate engineering risk assessments

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer license (P.Eng.) in Canada
• 6–10 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with water projects
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
