Job Description Working in the Adult Outpatient Mental Health Program, the candidate will be required to complete assessments, develop, implement and evaluate treatment plans for individuals with complex concurrent disorders (mental health and addiction).

The candidate will liaise with other services within the Mental Health program and with community agencies to coordinate care for clients.

They will be expected to utilize critical thinking, problem solving and customer service in their approach to care and service delivery.

In addition, they will work with an inter-professional team and participate in program development and evaluation, internal/external presentations and continuous quality improvement activities.

The candidate will support a workplace that embraces diversity, encouraged teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Ability to work flexible hours is a requirement and some evening hours will be required.

Masters in Social Work from a recognized Social Work program Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers Formal training and demonstrated knowledge in evidence based treatment models (motivational interviewing,interpersonal therapy etc) are critical three or more years of specialized clinical experience working with individuals living with a concurrent disorderand their families is required Training and/or experience in CBT, DBT required Strong skills in group facilitation, individual and family counselling,



clinical assessment and treatment are essential Knowledge of community resources in mental health and addiction treatment is needed The abilitytoprovide culturally competent service to clients is required Excellent organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills and the abilityto work effectively in a fast paced clinical setting are also essential Experience in developing and delivering educational workshops/presentations to a range of audiences and supporting capacity building initiatives are essential Computer skills, including work processing, electronic communication and workload measures are essential Ability to work flexible hours is a requirement with one evening per week Travel in the community and to other sites isrequired and access to a vehicle isneeded Additional Information Hours: Monday to Friday - 7.5 hour shifts - 08:30 - 16:30, except Wednesday which an evening shift 1100-1900 (hours subject to change based on operational needs) Salary: $47.039 to $60.979 per hour Date Posted: September 17, 2026 Internal Application Deadline: September 24, 2026 REF4071O Halton Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer who is committed to integrating diversity, equity and inclusion throughout our operations, policies and culture.
