As a Senior Learning Experience Designer (LXD), you will be at the forefront of our mission to create tailored, impactful learning experiences that improve results for our world-renowned clients.

This role combines strategic learning design with hands-on development. You will collaborate with our clients, subject matter experts (capabilities and scientific) and multi-disciplined learning & capabilities team to shape learning journeys, define measurable outcomes, and design innovative solutions — while also building content, writing learning objectives, developing slide decks, and producing learning assets directly. This is an actively hands-on role: Seniority does not remove responsibility for direct content creation.

We are looking for someone with an instructional design background who brings fresh thinking, and practical use of AI within learning solutions and design workflows. You will collaborate across scientific, creative, performance, and client teams.

You will report into the Learning Experience Design Director.

This is a remote working role and you must reside in Canada or North America.

What will you do...

Learning Strategy & Solution Design

- Lead the instructional design strategy and design of learning journeys across blended modalities for specific projects, delegating tasks to other LXDs.
- Translate client needs, business objectives, and performance gaps into measurable learning outcomes.
- Incorporate innovative approaches, including appropriate use of AI-enabled tools, adaptive learning, and latest technologies.
- Articulate and justify learning solutions internally and with clients.
- Contribute to proposal development and RFP responses.
- Lead discovery workshops with clients or colleagues from several teams.
- Implement measurement strategies to evaluate learning impact.





Hands-On Content Development

- Conduct content research, including review of client materials and Subject Matter Experts interviews.
- Develop detailed design documents and content for facilitated programs (slide decks, facilitator guides, participant guides, worksheets, work mats, checklists, and ancillary assets)
- Develop content for non-clinical/scientific self-directed learning assets including:
- eLearning (Rise, Storyline, Evolve or equivalent)
- Job aids
- Infographics
- Playbooks
- User guides
- Podcasts and video scripts

- Design and write assessments in consideration of learning goals.
- Create Train-the-Trainer materials and support delivery.
- Conduct instructional design quality reviews of internally or externally developed assets, including scientific content developed by medical writers, to enhance the learning experience and ensure understanding of learning goals.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

- Build working relationships with clients, colleagues, and subject matter experts.
- Demonstrate credibility when engaging with pharmaceutical stakeholders.
- Translate scientific or technical information into accessible learning solutions.
- Provide on-site or virtual support for program delivery
- Communicate with project and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

What do you need to have...





- 3+ years of experience designing blended learning solutions grounded in adult learning principles.
- Experience defining learning outcomes and design strategically aligned solutions.
- Hands-on content creation capability.
- Experience working with multiple projects or in a role partnering with learning agencies.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry (e.g., understanding of HCPs, compliance context, field force environments).
- Collaborate across many-sided teams.
