Job Description Providing quality patient care to paediatric patients and their families.
Qualifications Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) required Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire Current Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate required Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification required Minimum 3 to 5 years recent experience inpaediatric inpatient and/or paediatric outpatient clinic required Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred Strong paediatric assessment skills required Proficient in paediatric medication calculation and administration Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and families in a culturally sensitive, family-centered care model Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Experience with Paediatric triage, procedural support, and health teaching/education Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a busy clinic environment Team player with excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills Satisfactory employment and attendance record Additional Information Hours: Monday - Sunday - 0800 - 1600 (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs.)
