Toronto, ON | Hybrid | Immediate Start Our client, a well-established CPG company , is seeking a Senior Inventory Analyst to join their Finance team on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting or finance professional with robust inventory, reconciliation, reporting, and analytical experience.

Key Responsibilities Maintain and update inventory records, price lists, and related financial information.

Perform month-end inventory reconciliations to the General Ledger and prepare journal entries.

Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform detailed variance analysis.

Manage inventory adjustments related to obsolete inventory, waste, plant assets, and other variances.

Prepare inventory reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for financial reporting.

Track and report on biological assets, fair value adjustments, and related unrealized gains.

Assist with period-end inventory closing and adjustments.

Participate in physical inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.

Support internal and external audits, tax requirements, and internal control processes.

Work closely with FP&A; and Operations on standard costing, inventory analysis, and new product setups.

Identify process improvements to strengthen inventory controls, reporting,



and overall efficiency.

Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reports as required.

Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting, inventory, or financial analysis experience.

Experience in CPG, manufacturing, or a similar environment is an asset.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and inventory accounting.

Strong reconciliation, variance analysis, and month-end experience.

Advanced Excel skills.

Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. CPA or progress toward CPA is an asset.
