Join CMHA Kelowna & District as a Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician at Foundry Kelowna. This casual position focuses on delivering care for young individuals facing mental health challenges.
You will work Monday to Friday, ensuring that each client receives tailored support through evidence-based modalities. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree, has a minimum of two years in counseling, and is skilled in conducting assessments and facilitating group therapy. Responsibilities include offering direct services and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessments and brief interventions for youth
• Facilitate access to relevant community-based services
• Conduct group therapy and psychosocial workshops
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in service improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in related fields
• Minimum of 2 years in a counseling role
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license
• Exceptional communication and engagement skills
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
