In this role, reporting to the Supervisor of Cultural Development, you will contribute to the city’s Cultural Plan while leveraging experience in the arts and culture sector. A minimum of four years in a similar role is essential, along with a solid understanding of cultural policies and best practices to drive effective community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement services for Cultural Counts: Oshawa’s Arts Plan
• Assist the Cultural Leadership Council with initiatives




• Support grant applications and funding for cultural programs
• Oversee communication tactics for cultural events
• Manage recruitment and training of cultural volunteers

Requirements:
• Degree in Cultural Studies or equivalent
• Minimum four years of experience in arts and culture
• Familiarity with municipal government operations
• Training in Project Management and Community Development
• Valid Ontario Driver's License and ability to work evenings and weekends
