Alpha House is seeking a PBSH Caseworker for full time overnight shifts, focusing on supporting individuals facing complex challenges. This role is fundamental in providing a compassionate approach to addiction and mental health.
As a caseworker, you’ll work collaboratively in a case management team dedicated to promoting harm reduction and housing stability. Your crisis management abilities and empathetic nature will be vital to effectively support vulnerable clients. We value dedication and ethical responsibility in helping individuals thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalized support to clients experiencing homelessness
• Advocate for housing stability using harm reduction techniques
• Manage and de-escalate crisis situations with care
• Build trusting relationships with clients
• Follow privacy and confidentiality protocols
Requirements:
• Minimum two-year diploma in Human Services or related field
• Frontline experience with addiction and mental health
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Class 5 (Non GDL) driver's license with clear record
• Capability to assist clients physically when required
