Discovery Kidd is seeking a Mobile Mechanic specialized in maintenance for mining equipment. This role focuses on the protected and efficient upkeep of equipment in North America’s gold and silver mining industry.

As part of the team, you will report to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting inspections, and ensuring the reliability of mining operations. Maintaining safety standards is key, and you will actively engage in preventive and reactive maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute maintenance and repairs on sophisticated equipment
• Inspect machinery for malfunctions and troubleshoot issues
• Promote compliance with safety policies
• Suggest areas for improved operational performance
• Daily operations using Computer Maintenance Management Systems

Requirements:
• Certification in Heavy Equipment required
• Minimum three years’ experience in the field
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience with Caterpillar and John Deere preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills required
