Take on a pivotal role as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer IV in Calgary or Edmonton with a hybrid work model. This role demands expertise in overseeing I&C; designs for major liquid and gas projects.
As a key technical leader, you will guide the overall design development for I&C;, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and timelines. Collaboration with various disciplines such as Electrical and Mechanical Engineering will be essential. Your ability to manage third-party contractors will contribute significantly to project success and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight for Instrumentation & Control design on projects • Represent the I&C; discipline in major project discussions • Collaborate with project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle • Plan control system hazard assessments and FAT activities • Incorporate lessons learned to improve project outcomes
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience • Minimum of 10 years in engineering and project management • Proficiency in control systems and instrumentation design • Familiarity with industrial control systems like Schneider and GE • Robust analytical and communication skills
