DepartmentMerchandise Planning & AllocationsReports toAllocations LeadLocationNorth Vancouver, BCYour Opportunity at ARC’TERYXAs a bilingual Allocations Coordinator, you play an integral part of the sales and distribution process, working alongside Wholesale Territory Managers, Wholesale Accounts and Factory Outlet teams. You work cross‑functionally with our internal operational, commercial, and demand planning teams to ensure your assigned doors have the right product at the right time so that they can deliver an exceptional guest experience.This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.Please note this is a temporary role.Meet Your Future TeamThe Merchandise Planning & Allocation team is a cross‑functional group whose focus is to continuously drive sales and margin, while mitigating inventory risks by finding the balance between the right product, at the right quantity, in the right place, at the right time.Core Activities / ResponsibilitiesAcquiring a broad knowledge of order book management processes across all customer groupsMonitoring allocation, delays and risks related to order deliveries for your assigned doors, creating ad‑hoc reports for stakeholders as requiredProactively managing the order book fulfillment process; ensuring order releasesare accurate, timely, and delivered according to the customer requirementsActing as the hub for communication between the wholesale customers, territory managers, and internal operational teams, building close relationships and ensuring all stakeholders are alignedProviding exceptional support and prompt responses to our guest‑facing teams in your assigned doorsSupporting various departmental initiatives,
including providing mentorship to new allocations team membersIdentifying issues and gaps in process and supporting the team to help find resolutionsConstantly seeking opportunities to improve processes or better support sales and sell‑throughYou may be required to travel occasionally for territory visitsAcquiring a working knowledge of Arc’teryx products and technologiesSupporting the team with additional tasks as required to help achieve company objectivesUpholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chainFuture ProjectsAssisting in driving sales initiatives and programsIdentifying and highlighting any inventory risks as soon as discovered and investigating options to solve the problemHelping to identify regional shortages and overages for the Open‑To‑Buy processQualificationsYou have 3+ years in a Customer Service, Retail Management, or Allocations roleYou are able to read, write, fluently speak and understand both English and FrenchYou have highly effective verbal and written communication skillsYou are proactive and comfortable communicating with customers via phone and emailYou have strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skillsYou demonstrate attention to detail, including accurate data entry skillsYou are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft ExcelYou are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutionsYou remain highly versatile and adaptable when faced with ambiguityYou effectively balance autonomy and collaborationYou seek the best (sometimes not the easiest)

Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job‑related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
