REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

fluent user of American Sign Language (ASL)

experience with Deaf culture and the Deaf community

a preference for a graduate from an ASL interpreter training program

training and/or experience with students in the elementary educational setting

skills in mentoring children with a variety of learning needs and language levels

effective in working as a team member with Teacher of the Deaf, Deaf role model, classroom teachers, and other ASL interpreters

successful related experience

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

1. 0 hrs/day





To begin a.s.a.p. (and continue to June 29, 2027 (if an elementary assignment) of June 30, 2027 (if a high school assignment), or earlier if the needs of the division change)

Salary range - $31.56 - $36.20 per hour
