You will assess and treat patients within the Medicine Program, including critical care areas like ICU and Emergency. Your expertise will guide collaborative efforts with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless support for patients facing acute medical challenges. The ideal candidate brings robust clinical knowledge alongside an understanding of equity and diversity in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high patient care standards in line with policies • Manage assessments and treatment for communication disorders • Participate in interdisciplinary discharge planning • Provide timely documentation of patient assessments • Consult and supervise Speech-Language Pathology students
Requirements: • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required • Registration with CASLPO essential • Experience in a hospital setting preferred • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Commitment to inclusive practices in healthcare
