In this full-time role, you will design secure and scalable automation architectures and serve as a subject-matter expert in IEC61850 technologies. You’ll collaborate with utilities and industry partners to help develop future standards in protection, automation, and control systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop SCL artifacts and validate messaging protocols
- Design network architectures for high-performance substations
- Optimize time-sensitive applications for protection systems
- Integrate IEDs with SCADA and HMI systems
- Incorporate cybersecurity principles into system design Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- At least 5 years relevant work experience
- Knowledge of IEC61850 and cybersecurity practices
- Experience with virtualized application deployment
