Join QUALICUM SCHOOL DISTRICT as a temporary Speech and Language Pathologist, focused on meeting the diverse needs of learners. This 0.60 FTE role includes collaboration with teachers and development of Individual Education Plans. In this role, the candidate will support educators in creating responsive learning environments.
You will engage with students across various ages and needs, integrating technology to aid learning. Working alongside Case Managers will ensure targeted support, enabling effective interventions based on individual student assessments. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan responsive educational experiences for diverse learners
- Work with teachers to adapt and modify curriculum
- Consult on Individual Education Plans with Case Managers
- Employ information technology to bolster teaching efforts
- Maintain communication with all stakeholders in the education process Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Current registration with BC College of Speech and Hearing
- Experience with early learning difficulties
- Skilled in language intervention and support strategies
