**Location Description**
Post Consumer Brands in Niagara Falls, Ontario is home to the Original Shredded Wheat cereal, first produced at this plant 117 years ago.

Today, more than 150 team members work at the plant and support the local food bank and other community organizations.

The Niagara Falls plant is just down the road from the iconic and expansive waterfalls of the same name.

**Responsibilities**
**JOB Overview:**
Responding to routine breakdown and repair issues
Ensure high factory reliability is achieved by performing quality routine machine and plant maintenance
Ensure optimum performance is achieved through effective and consistent setting of the production machine
Participate in engineering focused activities in support of manufacturing plant and equipment
Work with the engineering team and meet the engineering standards across the group
Deliver maintenance KPI's to ensure visibility of maintenance performance and required improvement for site
Verify and report back to the Supervisor and or Planner on Parts and time required if follow up work is required
Must book out parts from the storeroom on the off shift, work with Store room attendant to verify parts and equipment for repairs and upgrades are in stock and kitted for jobs and shutdown
May be required to assist with tools on repairs and troubleshooting, lending a hand on jobs etc.





As required update the electrical repair log book online with respect to ESA repairs and maintenance.

Provide input and feedback on Root Cause Elimination problem solving, Capital & Engineering Projects.

Work within the Electrical Safety Policy and all electrical safety programs, help Manage as required.
**Qualifications**
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS:**
Valid 442A and/or 309A ticket
Trained in troubleshooting 600 & 480 volt power control circuits
Work with other Maintenance Trades in trouble shooting problems with equipment.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft software packages, Auto

Cad Electric, RS Logics
Basic understanding of the following list of PLC and Software Systems: Siemens, APT PLC.

Knowledge of Servo Control.

Rockwell: Slick 500, PLC 5, Control Logics, Powerflex drives
Programming of the above controls
**EDUCATION:**
Must possess a valid Industrial Electrician license in the province of Ontario.

Additional education / certifications in the above electrical applications would be an asset.

per hour
