**Job Title: Order Picker Operator – Afternoon Shift**
**Job Description**
This role is based at a Northwest Edmonton warehouse where you operate platform picker (order-picker) and reach forklifts to accurately select and move products from racking.

You start by training on the shipping line to learn products, customers, and processes, then progress through departments such as quality control before transitioning to full-time lift truck operation.

The position focuses on efficient order picking, safe material handling, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity on the afternoon shift.
**Responsibilities**
Operate a platform picker (order-picker) forklift as the primary piece of equipment to select orders from racking.

Operate a reach forklift and other stand-up material handling equipment as required.

Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to complete order picking, shipping, and inventory tasks.

Perform shipping and receiving activities, including verifying orders, labeling, and staging freight.
**Essential Skills**
Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience.

Minimum 6 months of platform picker (order-picker) forklift experience, with priority placed on this skill.

Reach forklift experience and comfort operating stand-up lift equipment.

Proven experience with forklift and pallet jack operation.

Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs, with the ability to seek assistance for heavier freight.

Experience using RF scanners for order picking, shipping, and inventory tasks.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and shipping.

Ability to work the afternoon shift schedule consistently (1 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Friday).

The pay range for this position is $22.37 - $22.37/hr.
