Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a candidate to support our client with assembling, testing, documenting, and inspecting complex electro-mechanical and electro-optical products in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, soldering, testing, troubleshooting, and cleanroom production processes.

This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology products while collaborating closely with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure high-quality production standards.

Candidates who are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting will excel in this role.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum 18 months experience in an electronics manufacturing workplace
Experience with soldering techniques, surface preparation, solder grades, and wire applications
Understanding of electronic circuitry, components, and basic repair techniques ( standard across the board and will be trained)
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measurement/test equipment
Put mechanical and sub assemblies and electronics together
Building products for scientific research and electronics, sensors, cameras, or aerospace/defense equipment
Familiarity with ESD-safe manufacturing environments
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to approximately 49 lbs 2+ years of experience with optical materials, adhesives, processes, and tools
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Experience working within ISO-regulated manufacturing environments
Experience handling, cleaning, and inspecting optical components
Understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs)
Previous cleanroom manufacturing experience
Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives
Exposure to electro-optical product manufacturing and testing
