Job Description
Our client is seeking a hands-on Okta Migration Developer to support a large-scale identity modernization initiative.

This consultant will play a key role in migrating a legacy Oracle Identity Management environment to Okta while supporting application migrations across global tenants.

This is a highly technical, execution-focused position requiring strong Okta expertise and the ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities
Oracle Identity Migration
• Analyze and assess the existing Oracle Identity Management workplace.
• Review current Oracle IAM configurations, workflows, and lifecycle management processes.
• Document identity governance and provisioning functionality currently residing in Oracle.
• Support migration of employee lifecycle management capabilities from Oracle Identity Management to Okta.
• Partner with architects and technical stakeholders to ensure successful migration design and execution.

Okta Modernization & Application Migration
• Configure and administer Okta Workforce Identity Cloud.
• Support migration and consolidation activities across multiple Okta tenants.
• Assist in migrating approximately 50 applications from an EU Okta tenant into a North American tenant.
• Collaborate with offshore resources executing portions of the migration effort.
• Implement SSO, MFA, and identity lifecycle management solutions.
• Configure and support application integrations using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Support downstream provisioning and identity automation processes.

Technical Delivery
• Serve as a hands-on technical contributor rather than a PMO or advisory resource.
• Participate in architecture, design validation, and implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot complex identity and access management issues.




• Roll up sleeves and execute migration tasks directly within client environments.

Skills and Requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on Okta experience.
• Strong experience administering and configuring Okta Workforce Identity Cloud.
• Experience with:
○ SSO and MFA policy design
○ SAML, OIDC, and SCIM integrations
○ Application onboarding and lifecycle management
○ Downstream provisioning
• Experience supporting enterprise identity modernization or migration programs.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Identity Management (OIM) and legacy IAM platforms.
• Ability to review existing Oracle IAM configurations and translate them into Okta solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and implementation skills.
• Experience working in global enterprise environments.
